Each Practical Outcomes course covers the practical skills needed to administer first aid in the workplace. 

 

The courses will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies in your workplace.  Courses are designed to teach the knowledge and skills critical to saving life and minimising the severity of injury or sudden illness.  Safety awareness and accident prevention are emphasized. 

 

All courses are delivered in our training rooms or can be delivered on site.

Includes Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).  It is recommended that this be updated annually.

This course is completed in 1 day x 8 hours or 2 evenings x 3 hours.

 

Price: $130.00 per person (for groups of 10 participants or more - minimum spend $1000.00)

 

Perform CPR - HLTCPR201A (3 hours)

 

This course provides the skills to recognise and then manage a casualty who is unconscious and is not breathing. CPR is a life saving technique which can sustain life until an ambulance arrives. 

 

Practical Outcomes recommends, in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that a CPR refresher program is undertaken every 12 months.

  • Communicate detals of the incident

First Aid At Sea 

 

The Marine environment can be a dangerous place. Every year hundreds of Australians are injured on our waterways

Do you regularly sail, coach sailing or are your regularly  involved with other water sports?

If so the First aid at Sea course could be for you

 

The course will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies at sea until medical assistance can be obtained

All our courses are designed to teach the knowledge and skills critical to saving life and minimising the severity of injury or sudden illness.  Safety awareness and accident prevention are emphasized.

This Course complies with the YA racing requirements for categories 1, 2 and 3.

All courses are delivered in our training rooms or can be delivered on site. (Parts of the course can be delivered on the water if a suitable vessel is available)

Course in Emergency Asthma Management - 21886VIC (3 hours practical)

  • Signs and symptoms of an Asthma attack.

  • How to recognise the symptoms of an asthma attack.
  • How to assess the severity of an attack and take appropriate actions to reduce the severity.
  • Working with emergency asthma plan

Our trainers are registered trainers with Asthma Victoria.

 

Price:  $60.00 per person

 

All qualifications and units are nationally recognised and are able to be customised to suit client needs in terms of location and times of sessions.
