Students are provided with an induction interview before enrolment. The purpose of this interview is to outline the policies, procedures and processes of Practical Outcomes and any clarification regarding the course and individual needs.

During this meeting the student will be provided with detailed information regarding the course content, pathways, method of teaching and assessment provided and support systems, complaints procedure.

This is a great opportunity to clarify any questions they might have in regard to; training, assessment and other services provided by Practical Outcomes

 How the courses are designed?

The courses have been designed through an evaluation of work undertaken by staff working in children’s services. Units of competency have been linked in accordance to the type of job role and the growth of skills and experience over time.

The course ensures that students experience learning in all aspects of their job at all times. This means that students will be showing growth in all areas as each course progresses and ensures equal value is placed on all aspects of the job role.
